Privacy policy
Last updated October 18, 2026
goodvibes is a small social network for sharing the good moments of life with the people close to you. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Account: your phone number (to sign in), first and last name, email address, and an optional profile photo and bio.
What you share: the photos and videos you post (“vibes”), the collections you create or join, your comments, likes, and who you follow or are friends with. When you open someone else’s vibe, we record that you saw it so its author can see who did.
Contacts: if you allow it, the app checks which phone numbers in your address book belong to goodvibes members, so you can follow them or invite the others. Your contacts are looked up and never stored.
Device: a push notification token, if you allow notifications.
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Who can see what
Your name, photo and bio are visible to members. Each collection has its own privacy: private (its contributors only), friends, or public. Your phone number and email are never shown to anyone.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored with Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions and Cloud Messaging), in the United States.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, delete any vibe or comment you posted, leave collections, block and report people, and turn notifications off in iOS settings.
Deleting your account: in the app, open your profile, tap ••• and choose “Delete my account”. Your profile, vibes, the collections you created, your comments, likes and connections, and your files are permanently deleted.
Children
goodvibes is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
